I like real expansions, but these small ones just leave me with a bad taste in my mouth
Aside from that, great new info and coverage! Looks like everything is coming together well.
I just wish you guys could stop comparing something similar yet not exactly the same in another game that you didn't care for and think outside of the box and help me brainstorm and how it *could* be something cool for Vanguard.
We understand where these things have failed in the past, or where people have been unduly coerced into buying the mini-expansion because some quest ties to it, but that doesn't mean we'd have to do it that way.
Again, I'm just brainstorming on ways we could pay for an even larger live team or a third team (live, expansions, and mini-expansions) to grow the game with a lot of our cool ideas for content and game mechanics. What's exciting about a mini-expansion is it could be something totally digitally downloaded and allow us to do things more frequently but in smaller doses without having to make a box, put it in the stores, etc. Something like this could even pay for special rule-set servers -- more PvP servers earlier, more types, RP servers, hard core severs. The possibilities are endless, but we have to have a trust between us (Sigil and the player) that we would not abuse this but rahter use this to make the game *that* much better and appealing.
