I had a chance to play a Schecter the other day. I forget the model, but it was around $600. Really impressive overall. Great wood selection, decent pickups, and the neck shape fit me very well. Fixed bridge model too which I like (I don't use a Floyd enough to want to deal with the hassle).

Overall a really nice guitar. I think my next purchase though will be a midi-capable guitar to use with Guitar Rig 2.0 for my PC.</div> <div> __________________
