A note here about NPC difficulty.
As you know, we have been working on giving NPCs up to 5 decks each with a multi-deck functionality.
Our internal playtest sessions have centered heavily on increasing the refresh timers for just about every card, but concentrating on the largest increase for Evaluations, Rebuttals, and Assertions.
Finally, we are looking into "tiered" NPC station cards - they get better cards each tier you interact with them. This will feel like cheating for them. This is intended to offset the increased power players will be gaining through items. We have designs for various NPC abilities to mimic player items, but in the nearer term, cards are much easier to make and test.
