The whole logic of the line needs to be changed to be idiot-proof, so that if the orb gets removed from a player's inventory, there is a way you can get it back and keep progressing by abandoning quests. I've done at least a few bug reports, I tried petitioning once, and I'm still just stuck at 14 diplomacy skill, with no way to advance. Please help!

This is still on my list. I'll try and look into this today.
Specifically:

- If you do not have the orb, and you speak with your Diplomacy Instructor (Qarouk Telourshed), then he will give you the orb.
