My guess is that the raid lever is basically civic diplomacy in a dungeon: parley with an NPC until a threshold is met and then trigger an effect. Civic Diplomacy has been in place since release, more or less, and bug free for over a month. So really, the only coding involved is integrating a working procedure into a different environment. Most likely we are seeing something that the Adventure side of design finally got around to doing, that the Diplomacy side has had ready for weeks.

Therefore, it is not a distraction of the Diplomacy design to get this facet implemented, it was catchup from the Adventure design group to actually get it working on their side.

Again, this is just a hypothesis.



Setting up this simple Civic lever was no big thing for us. It's an important part of the larger plan that is Civic Diplomacy in the City of the Dead.

And for those who think other issues are more important - I did it in my spare time. :P
