I'd be happy to clear up this misconception because it is, without a doubt, wrong.

In october we required everyone to update to the latest publish of 9.0c, which is not DirectX 10.

If you visit www.microsoft.com/directx you will see they have a new publish of 9.0c released on 12/13.

DirectX 10 brings alot of changes, namely, requiring you to run Vista. Obviously this would alienate a vast majority of players

So fear not
