This issue has been looked into.
These losses should be removed for Monday's patch. The intention is that you only lose rival house faction, not Thestran Watch, New Targonor Proper, or Foreign Quarter faction at all. So, after Monday's patch (3/18/07), you will only see loss in the rival house factions.
Also, I love the passive voice. Can you tell?
