I'm not sure how it's going to work in Vanguard, but I know in old D&D, AC = 0 was actually better than AC = 9. Armor Class improved the lower you got. If it works the same way in Vanguard, then his armor is probably pretty decent for his level.


I didn't have any armor on -- we'd just wiped to a boss mob. All I was wielding was the 2-handed hammer you can see in my inventory, hence my AC was zero.
